DESCRIPTION
DynaSHIELD® DAB – IT is a proprietary blend of rust inhibitors in polymers. This is an oil-based product. DynaSHIELD® DAB – IT flashes leaving a non-breathing, elastomeric seal around fasteners. DynaSHIELD® DAB – IT forms a water-repellent surface that is easily covered over with other ARC coatings.
RECOMMENDED USES
This is designed to be applied over both rusted and non-rusted metal fasteners to seal every fastener from water penetration.
APPLICATION
Surface to be treated must be clean and dry. If necessary, remove all dirt, grease, loose debris and residue before applying. Do NOT apply over moisture in or on the roof deck. DynaSHIELD® DAB – IT to be applied with a DAB – IT disposable applicator. Dab every fastener at 35° F and rising. Apply when no moisture or dew is present. Once DynaSHIELD® DAB – IT is applied over the fastener, turn disposable applicator clockwise 1 full turn, then turn counter clockwise 1 full turn. Warm product to 100 ° F for application.
